This is the second half of my interview with Gregg Tilston from Podcamp Toronto 2010. Gregg is the man in charge of SEO & Social Media at FlightCentre.ca, and in this clip, he discusses how FlightCentre.ca is using social media to generate traffic in a way that’s similar to how the airline industry uses the hub & spoke system to manage airline traffic. Basically, their blog is their social media hub, and all their offisite social media profiles (such as Twitter and YouTube) are the social media spokes that filter traffic back to the blog.

This is an interview with Chris Hill, the President and CEO of FundScrip, a company that helps non-profits raise money by obeying the 13th Law of Power: When Asking for Help, Appeal to People’s Self-Interest, Never to their Mercy or Gratitude. Basically, FundScrip helps these non-profits raise money by selling gift cards — instead of just asking for hand-outs.

Chris and I actually met a couple years ago at a job interview. He interviewed me. Our paths crossed again last year in Vegas when we were both working for other people. We had a lot of fun that night, and a lot of video was shot that night, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be doing either one of us any favors by posting it online. Besides, what happens in Vegas in supposed to stay there, not online…

So last week I was down at SMX East 2009 in NYC. I had a blast, both during business hours and afterwards. During business hours, though, I was blogging and video blogging for NVI. Well, of all the video interviews I did, here’s the one I enjoyed doing the most — and I’m not even in front of the camera.

This is the first of three installments of a chat with Rand Fishkin and Guillaume Bouchard. They discuss where they think search might be headed in the coming year.

Rand is the CEO of SEOmoz, Guillaume is the CEO of NVI (my boss), the two of them are good friends, and they have both forgotten more about search engine marketing than most of us will ever know. All in all, it was a bit of an intimidating experience to be hanging out with them both.

Here’s the second half of my interview with Shel Israel. In this installment, Shel chats about his career over the last 30 years, how he got into social media, and when it clicked for him that Twitter was going to be a big f**king deal. I hope you enjoy…

Almost a month ago, now, Geoff Livingston (@GeoffLiving) was in town on holiday, Adele McAlear put together a lunchtime TweetUp in his honor. Geoff is a PR and social media guy who has a highly trafficked Blog, The Buzz Bin, is the owner of his own PR agency (which was acquired by CRT/Tanaka) and the author of Now Is Gone, a book on new media and public relations.

In any case, during lunch, I managed to pull him aside to ask him a few questions (and after lunch, Geoff met up with Mitch Joel to have a much more serious discussion during an episode of Six Pixels of Separation).

Back in January, at Affiliate Summit 2009, I had the privilege of meeting Jeremy (Shoemoney) Schoemaker. He’s kinda like the Chris Brogan of affiliate marketing, and is known for a picture of a big-ass Google Adwords check.

Anyways, this is Part II of a 3 part interview with him. It’s about his Shoemoney Tools, a suite of webmaster tools for people who want to drive results. During filming, I actually rubbed him the wrong way with my cautious skepticism, so I cut that part out. But Shoemoney believes enough in them to be offering a $3.95 trial. I’ve never used them, but they feature tools for PPC, keyword research, domain buying, SEO, link building, and a bunch of other stuff.
